FAQs
Start an ApplicationI am self-employed; am I eligible for a loan?
We do accept self-employed individuals; however, you must have a stable income, and our agents will assess your creditworthiness based on the requested documents.
What are the eligibility requirements?
You must be 18 years of age or older, not be bankrupt or in the process of bankruptcy, be a Canadian resident, and have a source of income.
What are the reasons why my application might be refused?
The reasons for a refusal following the evaluation of an application are always confidential. However, certain criteria—such as being under a consumer proposal (bankruptcy) or a voluntary deposit arrangement, having no source of income, or providing incomplete documents or erroneous information—will result in your application being automatically refused.
How long will it take for the money to be deposited into my account?
From the moment we have received all the requested documents, we commit to completing the assessment process in less than one hour. If you accept the agreement before 11:00 AM EST (UTC -05:00), the funds will be deposited into your bank account by the end of the day. Otherwise, they will appear in your account within 24 business hours of signing.
Is the process confidential?
Absolutely! Throughout the entire process, our agents are required to keep personal information confidential. No information will be disclosed to any third party.
Can I apply for a new loan even if I haven't finished paying off my current loan?
Yes, you can; however, the outstanding balance on your current loan must be less than $150. If the balance is $151, the system will not allow it.
I have changed my bank account; what should I do?
You must send us a new voided check, either by fax or email, and one of our representatives will update the banking information in your file.
The deadline I had to accept the contract has expired. Can I reapply immediately?
No. An expired contract is treated as a rejected application. Therefore, you must wait 30 days before applying for a loan again.
Why might my bank statement be rejected?
Your bank statement must cover at least the last 30 days of your daily transactions. It is important that all details—such as the balance, deposits, and withdrawals—are visible. Otherwise, it is impossible for us to properly assess your application. The easiest way to obtain a statement covering the last 30 days is to visit your bank's website.
Why might my pay stub be rejected?
A recent pay stub is required for the assessment of your application. A rejection may result from a pay stub that is too old, illegible, or does not correspond to your current employment.
Why might my ID be rejected?
The ID must be clear and legible, and it must not be expired. No fields may be obscured, and any attempt at fraud will be reported to the authorities.
Can I receive the $500in one account and have the withdrawals taken from another?
Unfortunately not; we withdraw the amounts from the same account into which the $500 is deposited. This process is essential to prevent any type of fraud.
